Iabsolutely adore photographing this precious stage of your little bundle of joy. It’s a stage in your child’s life that passes so very quickly and the images produced from a newborn session will become a cherished possession that brings you back to this fleeting time.

I have been photographing newborns for 9 years and I never take for granted that you as a parent will hand me the most important and vulnerable person in your lives. I have trained with some of the best and well known newborn specialist photographers in the country and continue to every year. I do this to keep my skills fresh, my ideas current and also so that I never lose sight of what a privilege it is to photograph your new baby.

My sessions are what I call “Baby led”, from the moment you hand me your baby I am assessing her to see how she is feeling and where she is comfortable. All babies are different and my experience allows me to recognise what way is best to position your baby in order to get the images we want in the most natural and comfortable way.

My Studio on the outskirts of Edinburgh is set up to cater to you and your Newborn baby, I have everything we will need to make you comfortable and create beautiful Newborn images.
